HISTORIC MARINA REVERIE

REED & GREENOUGH HAS BEEN A PART OF THE MARINA SINCE BEFORE IT WAS THE MARINA
OFFERING A PIECE OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT’S BEEN MISSING FOR SOME TIME: History.

Our facade is old, weathered like the city we reside in. A cattle feed store in the mid-1800s, taken down by the quake of 1906. Not to be lost with the livestock, the remaining re-usable wood and its name made its way to Scott Street to become a gin distillery. In this continued spirit, Reed & Greenough has lent its name and location to breweries, bars and restaurants that passed through. Today, our artisan bar offers guests a glimpse into that past alongside specialty drinks and craft spirits.

MEET Pauly “OneStar”

Born and bred Californian, PaulyOneStar has been bartending for over 20 years. Don’t let his nickname fool you, he makes 5-star drinks. As the craftsman behind our Spring Seasonals, Paul brought back the citrus and The Bees. Yes, capital T Bees.

We have a thing about The Bees here. Our rooftop hive produces the honey for our drinks. We also have the best selection of Mezcal on any menu in The Marina.

Paul loves tending bar at Reed & Greenough because of the atmosphere and environment. And of course, as a bartender, what’s not to love about the endless amount of tools and supplies that are available to him in order to create masterpieces.

Join us for Short Stories & Tall Drinks where we provide the booze and historians provide the banter. Every Wednesday during our Summer Happy Hour Series, Reed & Greenough hosts a featured guest speaker to tell us his or her favorite bit of historical drama here in the Marina.
